First date.. While being spoiled is lovely, I think a low key first date is better! Whether it's going for a walk along the beach and getting ice-cream, or going for drinks, or for a cheap and cheerful meal. It's easier to relax and get to know each other if it's low key I think :) Being spoiled can come later! ;)
